Hi my name is Marchalee Marsh and I hold the position as a consultant specialist at NY consulting firm for the past 4 years. I graduated with a Bachelors in Sociology in 2003 and master degree in Instructional Technology/professional trainee. After graduating with my masters in 2006; I began to explore social media for new interactive tools that clients would find resourceful for their business. effective training module that would impact both clients and co-workers.My area of expertise lies within cloud collaboration and social media tools.
Working at NY consulting firm; I've had the privilege of working with major companies and institution such as Timewarner, Nostrand and NYU. Working as a consultant has pave the way for me to utilized my knowledge about social media to those who seek to employ these tools in their businesses. Prior to working at NY consultant I worked at NYIT. as an Operation Processing specialist for 8 years; I was responsible for creating interactive training module that would be beneficial to every department. While working there, I worked closely with Directors from different department, staff and Deans constructing training material for each department based on their needs.
Mel and Sunburst is an advertising company seeking to expand their business, currently they have been facing some tough competition from their competitors. They seems to be behind in the social media world, and would like to educate their employees on 5 of the best social media tools. There are twenty five people who will be attending this training session, and their age ranges from 25 to 50. They have enough experience with social media to make this training session a success.
Training session will be broken down into 3 consecutive days. The first session will in the format of a face to face and the nest two an online session. Session will include 30 minutes break and the next two day a lunch. Day 1: 9:00- 9:30 introduction of participant, 9:30-10:30 overview of LikeAlyzer, 10:30-11:00 Coffee break and from 11:00-11:30 working with LikeAlyzer. Day 2: 9:00-9:15 recap of yesterday session, 9:15-10:00 working with tweetdeck, 10:00-11:15 and setup your personal tweetdeck, 11:15-12:15 Lunch break 12:15- 2:15 watching a tutorial video on canva, and 2:15-2:30 Q & A session. Day 3: 9:00-10:30 tutorial on Infogr.am, 10:30-11:30 set up your infogr.am account, Q&A session , 11:30-12:00 viewing a video on Piktochart, 12:00-1:00 Lunch, 1:00- 2:30 overview of Piktochart, questionnaire.
Upon completion of this session participants
- Will learn 5 best social media tool for small business
- Will be comfortable working with these tools
- Know how to design new material using these social media tool

Tweeter is one of the newest social media. Tweetdeck is a social media dashboard application for management of Tweeter account. Tweetdeck is an interface that consists of series of customizable columns that can be used to display your tweeter timeline, messages, notifications etc. It is a real time tracking, organizing and interactive tool that is easy to setup and it's free of cost.

Canva operates as an online design platform and media licensing service that empowers our users, members, artists, designers, photographers and others to design and collaborate. It is a new and innovative way to design your Facebook cover, blog graphics, create invitations and colorful flyers. Canva can be used to design your next presentation for a business opportunity; it is easy to work with even for beginners.

Infogr.am is a free webapp that allows you to create interactive infographic. Infogr.am might the newest tool for presenting data, once you import your data into infogr.am you can illustrate it with line,standard bar and pie chart. It is easy use just like the other social media tool mention in this training and yes it is free as well. No need to worry about being an expert, it is easy to use and it is user friendly.

You can use it to create posters to advertise your business, or design a presentation that will holds your audience attention. looking for a more colorful report you can also use Piktochart to create one.
