Why was it successful?

This campaign was successful for many reasons. First of all it connected with its core target audience, mothers 30-50 years old. It connected by showing how important of a role a mom plays in a persons life. They did this by showing the moms of the athletes competing in the games and how they helped the athletes with their respective sport.

This picture demonstrates the effectiveness of the campaign because it shows the mom of the olympian standing side-by-side.

What other reasons was it successful?

It displayed a cheerful message that everyone could relate to.

Special olympics athlete Molly Hincka's mom supports her very much. This is shown through the creative photography uses used in this commercial.

This shows that this was one of the best campaigns of the last 15 years because it shows how important parents really are in a child's life.

Procter and Gamble show us that anything is possible with this commercial. This commercial demonstrates that under any circumstances people can achieve success.
