Adult CPR


1.Check the scene to make sure its safe

2. check the patient- see if they are breathing normally and if they respond

3.Call 911- Send someone to go call 911.

4. Give 30 chest compressions

5. Hand placement for adult- Place heel of hand on the center of the chest between the nipples.The second hand should be on top of the first hand. Compress at least 2 inches deep.


Child Cpr


1.Check the scene to make sure its safe

2. check the patient- see if they are breathing normally and if they respond

3.Call 911- Send someone to go call 911.

4. Give 30 chest compressions

5. Hand placement for Child-Place heel of hand in the center of the chest between the nipples.Use the second hand if needed. Compress at least 1/3 of the chest deep.


Infant cpr

1. Check to scene to see if its safe. Ask yourself if its safe to help them.

2.Check the patient to see if they respond

3. Send someone to go call 911

4.Give 30 chest compressions

5.Place two fingers on the center of the chest between the nipples. Compress at least 1/3 of the chest deep

6.Stop cpr when you are tired or 911 arrives.

Unconsious choking

Adult

If they are unconscious lower them to the ground

Send someone to go call 911

Give them 30 chest compressions

Open the airway  and check the mouth for anything.

Attempt rescue breaths. If the breaths do not go in then reposition the head. and try again.


Unconscious choking Child

Lower them to the ground

Send someone to call 911

Give them 30 chest compressions

Open the airway and check their mouth for anything

Give two rescue breaths. If the breaths do not make the chest rise then reposition the head and try again.

Unconscious choking infant

Lower them to the ground

Send someone to call 911

Give them 30 chest compressions

Open the airway and check their mouth for anything

Give two rescue breaths. If the breaths do not make the chest rise then reposition the head and try again.

Arterial bleeding

Wrap it in a bandage

Give it Elevation

Then put pressure on it

When the bleeding starts to stop wrap more bandage on it


Conscious choking adult/ child

Ask are you choking?

If They cant answer they are choking

Stand behind them with one foot between their feet

Place the flatside of your fist above the bellybutton and the grab the fist with your other hand

Give abdominal thrusts till the object comes out



Conscious infant choking

Support the infants face and place their body on your forearm

keep the infants head lower then their feet

Give 5 back blows

Give 5 chest thrusts
