Climates in the World
People tend to get climates and weather confused. Climate is weather conditions over a long period of time while weather is a daily occurrence. Climate has several different classes to help us determine hot and cold.
Am climate is a mixture of a tropical, warm climate and dry weather. An area with an Am climates (the light red colours that are circled) don't have any cold seasons. In an Am climate, the average precipitation per year is 1500 mm and the average temperature is less than 18 degrees celcius Most of these climates are found around the equator.
