About Oaklawn Academy
Located on the shores of Lake Koshkonong in Edgerton, Wisconsin, Oaklawn Academy operates as a Catholic boarding school for boys. Established in 1984 by the Legionaries of Christ, Oaklawn Academy houses language and computer laboratories, gymnasium, auditorium, swimming pool, game rooms, tennis courts, infirmary, and soccer fields. Students follow a seven-day schedule that includes religious instruction and daily mass.
Aside from academic studies, Oaklawn students stay busy with extracurricular activities like sports clinics and weekly trips to planetariums and museums. In addition, students are taken on a 10-day trip to Italy during which they visit notable cities and spend Christmas in Rome.
After undergoing a rigorous assessment, Oaklawn Academy earned the Praesidium Accreditation. The accreditation recognizes the sound risk management and stringent safety practices of the school. This aligns with Oaklawn’s commitment to maintaining a high standard of abuse prevention and ensuring the safety of its students.
