June 17, 1994: O.J. Simpson Chase

Today is the 20th anniversary of the white Ford Bronco chase that ended in O.J. Simpson getting arrested for double murders. And not to make light of double murders; what happened was tragic. The trial was even more gripping ... as we would all find out.

So much came out of this epic day: Ford eventually discontinued the Bronco, the trial captured America & probably opened the eyes of TV producers to "Reality TV" ... and speaking of that – this was pretty much the day the Kardashian's were born.

Where were you during the Chase?

Do you remember where you were for the verdict?

Remember it vividly - was watching the Rockets Knicks NBA finals game. Then all of a sudden they cut to the chase (literally)

I was play "Around the World" with my cousins at my grandparents house. I remember coming inside to see everyone glued to the TV—it's a memory I will never forget.

I don't remember what I was doing during the Bronco chase, but I remember being in school during the verdict. Got a hall pass & snuck into the school library (evading the law myself a bit, I suppose) where some people had a TV on.

I remember watching part of the chase in my social studies class.
