Part of Downtown McKinney's Arts in Bloom
Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Event.

Sidewalks spring to life with color and creativity as artists' imaginations run wild with the McKinney Chalk Walk, a street art opportunity for professional artists and community participants. Chalk Walk is part of Arts in Bloom, a one day arts festival in Historic Downtown McKinney.

Chalk Walk takes places on the sidewalks surrounding McKinney Performing Arts Center, the Historic Courthouse in the center of downtown.

Calling all artists!

Professional and community artists are encouraged to participate! Everyone is eligible, but artists 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Artists select from three sizes of sidewalk squares:
* Large - 7.5' x 7'
* Medium - 5.5' x 5'
* Small - 4' x 4'

Artists must use non-oil based chalk/pastels provided by McKinney Performing Arts Center and content must be appropriate for family viewing.

There are no participation fees for Chalk Walk 2013 - however, reservations are strongly encouraged through an application. Applications are due Wednesday, April 10.
