Three ways it was advanced.

The social pyramid was one of the ways that made Mesopotamia an advanced society.

The social pyramid created governments. Most of them were Monarchy s, or  governments ruled by one king or emperor.  The kings were at the top of the pyramid. Priest were second because they could influence people to follow laws. Craftsmen, merchants, and traders were third because they made tools, traded goods, and resources the city need.Next, laborers and farmers were free men who worked in fields to grow crops and raised livestock for meat, fur, hides, and fertilizer. At the bottom, were slaves. They worked  to build temples, pyramids, and worked for kings. Social pyramids created social classes
