I am going to tell you about some tips and what you should know if you are living in one of these following places , a mountain, a coastal plain, a desert, and a oasis in the Arabian Peninsula in 600 C.E. If you are living on a mountain you should know these 3 tips. You are able to make flat areas by building or making a terrace, a area of flat land. When you make a terrace you can grow food and crops on the flat land. Also if you live on a mountain you can construct dams to hold the water for irrigation. If you live on a desert you should wear loose clothing so that the air can pass through your clothing and keep you cool. Also if you lived in a desert and if you are a Bedouin you could control common trading routes. If you lived in a coastal plains you would most likely be a farmer because the land was filled with farming communities. Also if you lived in a coastal plain you would store rain water in deep wells to conserve the water. If you live in an oasis you would bury plants underground so that they could get the water they needed. If you lived in an oasis you would pick fruit from a palm tree mostly dates and peaches. Also if you lived in an oasis you would be by lots of towns were you could barter and get supplies for things.
