A Comb for the Great

A 3-d Printed Comb

My project is a comb that is formatted  for 3-d printing. I was tasked with making a household object that would be used every day. I didn't want to do something someone else had already done, like a fork or a cup. I wanted for this to be something that I could use, not just something that would sit around, collecting dust. I found that the spacing of the tines on the comb is very hard and time consuming, so instead, I made a solid black, then made holes with equal spacing, making it much easier. It also made the comb sturdier and less flexible. If I did this project again, I would make it print flatter on the surface of the printer bed, because when the comb printed, there was a lot of  excess support, making the comb slightly uncomfortable to use.
