Description - Michael Jordan's early life.

Michael Jordan was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York to his parents James Jordan and Deloris Jordan. Although he was born in Brooklyn, he was raised in Wilmington North Carolina. When he was a kid, he used to always play basketball with kids much taller than him. They were taller than him, so he had to get better to be able to make shots which made him a much better player. Once he got to high school, he was really good but struggled during his sophomore year and got cut from the varsity team. After that he trained hard for a year and then became a high school legend. By the end of his Senior year he went to an all-american basketball camp and became the only player from his school ever to play district 1 basketball.

Chronological - Michael and his NBA career.

Michael Jordan got drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 draft. He was the third overall pick in that draft. Also in 1984 Jordan won the NBA Rookie of the year award. In 1991 he and the bulls won Jordan's first NBA title. In 1993 Mike J retired from the game of basketball and went to play for a minor league baseball team. Michael got bored of baseball and then returned to basketball for the Bulls in 1995. He then won NBA titles in 1996,1997, and 1998. He retired again and bought the Washington Wizards. He retired from that and then joined their team in 2002. Finally He retired in 2003.

Cause & Effect - how his hard work = great talent.

Since Mike was 4 he had a basketball in his hand. Even when he was young, he would work hard so he could show off his talent. When he was in high school, his coach cut him from the team. After that he practiced for hours and hours everyday and by his next year he was the best player on the team. After that accomplishment he never stopped improving. He became one of the best players because he wanted to prove the doubters wrong.
