About Paolo Catania
An experienced Canadian businessman, Paolo Catania has served as
chairman of the real estate firm Catania Group since the late 1980s.
With the help of Paolo Catania, the firm has gained an industry
reputation for a pioneering construction approach that carefully
integrates commercial and residential structures with the surrounding
environment. Notable Catania Group projects completed include an
industrial park in Quebec’s Montérégie region and the headquarters of
the Sorel-Tracy Fire Department. .
In additional to his professional endeavors with the Catania Group, Paolo Catania maintains a strong charitable commitment that includes a past position as vice-president, president and outgoing president of the Fondation Hôpital Charles-Lemoyne. During his six-year tenure, he focused his efforts on capital-raising campaigns on behalf of a vital Montérégie medical facility. He has also contributed to a number of health-focused nonprofits, including the Fondation Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal and Dystrophie Musculaire Canada, which finances muscular dystrophy research and awareness programs.
