About Patrick Gawrysia
Patrick Gawrysiak is an accomplished innovator in the field of e-commerce. Since 1999, he has held the position of Chief Executive Office for VRG Systems, which he founded. Under his leadership, VRG Systems and the VRG Group of Companies have grown to encompass 12 business entities in the United States and six more internationally. Most recently, Patrick Gawrysiak spearheaded the creation of ReadyScript, Consumer Connect, and the social network FocusFlock. He also designed the Purina University Program, an educational innovation that was incorporated in more than 20 veterinary academic institutions across the country. For all projects undertaken by VRG Group, Mr. Gawrysiak seeks to provide businesses and consumers with superior services in social media, e-commerce systems, and digital marketing and revenue.
Prior to establishing VRG Systems, Patrick Gawrysiak founded and oversaw operations for Advanced Technologies, Inc., a technology consulting firm. Quickly developing a strong reputation for superior consulting services, Advanced Technologies acquired industry-leading clients such as Microsoft, Oracle, Kraft Foods, Inc., Ford Motor Company, and General Motors. At the height of the firm’s operations, Mr. Gawrysiak oversaw 150 consultants.
Over the course of his career, Patrick Gawrysiak has amassed a number of prestigious industry awards. In 2004, he was honored as one of the year’s Most Powerful Men in E-Commerce by MacWorld and as a Technologist of the Year by TechWorld. In 2006, he earned the Top Wire Award for E-Commerce Sales Achievement.
Continuing to maintain a leadership role in e-commerce and social media fields, he holds affiliations with such organizations as the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. In his prolific work within the music industry, he previously served as Chair of the Global Compression Forum. Patrick Gawrysiak supports charitable organizations such as the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House, and MusiCares.
