Dear Cindy Smith,

Life is good here so far. Everyone in the community is very close and together, we achieve many great things. I hope Everything in France is good for you, it has been a long time since we talked. Over here, the land is very important to us, we farm all the time. When we are not farming, we are fishing. They are both very profitable in trade. We have a wonderful connection and successful alliance with the natives of the land, which helps us greatly. We got our land by using a technique that reclaimed the land from under the water. That is why the soil is perfect for growing crops, because it is  constantly moist. The work is quite intense but, like I said before, we all work together so we are a strong community. One day, I hope to acquire my own land or even my own fishing boat. I think the fishing industry is good to get into because the fish are so plentiful here. I am about to leave for church which is also where our community likes to socialize, so I must go, I hope to see you soon.

                                                                                                                  Sincerely yours,

                                                                                                                              Timothy Smith
