About Philip Cyburt

Philip Cyburt has served as Chief Executive Officer of Laurus Corporation in Century City, California, since June of 2012. An experienced senior executive, he has led companies across multiple industries, including numerous real estate-related positions with major companies such as Boeing Realty Corporation and Lehman Brothers Holdings. Over the last 26 years, Philip Cyburt has continually developed his leadership and management skills, building on academic studies at Chapman University, Pepperdine University, and the University of Irvine.

Philip Cyburt began his career in real estate in 1985, shortly after graduating from Chapman University. He first worked as a Commercial Real Estate Broker and Vice President with Lee & Associates Real Estate Brokerage, a position he held for two years. In 1987, he became Director of Development at Tishman Realty and Construction, Inc.. Three years later, Philip Cyburt left Tishman to join McDonnell Douglas Corporation as President of its realty company and lead executive of its finance corporation, a position he kept until 1997, when the company merged with Boeing Realty Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company. He continued to serve as President of Boeing Realty Corporation until 2003. During this same period, he served as the internal adviser to the Chief Investment Officer for the pension fund of both Boeing and McDonnell Douglas.

In 2003, Philip Cyburt co-founded Cyburt Hall Partners, which he led as a partner and as Managing Director. He held this position through 2009, taking on additional duties as Chief Executive Officer for the real estate division of GenCorp, Inc., from 2005 to 2006. After leaving Cyburt Hall, he took on roles with Alvarez and Marsal, LLC, and Lehman Bros. Holdings as Managing Director of the former and Interim Chief Executive Officer of the latter. In 2012, he left the companies to begin his current endeavors with Laurus Corporation.
