Public Relations Executive
Zachery Kouwe is a financial researcher and public relations executive, at Dukas Public Relations in New York City. He specializes in advising alternative asset management firms, such as private equity firms and hedge funds, on publicity strategies, transparency and crisis communications. Kouwe is a former business journalist and has worked at Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst, LBO Wire, The New York Post and The New York Times. Beginning his journalism career as a reporter for Wall Street Letter, a trade publication published by Institutional Investor, and later breaking stories about the nation’s stock exchanges including the Nasdaq and NYSE. At Boulder, Colorado he attended the Masters program in journalism at the University of Colorado School of Journalism and Mass Communications
Zach helped research two new books on the American economy including “All the Devils are Here: The Hidden History of the Financial Crisis,” by New York Times Columnist Joe Nocera and Vanity Fair contributing editor Bethany McLean. The book hit the non-fiction best-seller list in November 2010. He also worked as a researcher on “Debt, Deficits and the Decline of the American Economy” by Peter J. Tanous and Jeff Cox, a CNBC.com contributor.
