Latin America-focused Strategic Consultant Pilar O'Leary
A business, legal and humanitarian leader for nearly two decades, Pilar Frank O'Leary heads a Washington, D.C., strategic consulting firm focused on Latin American issues. Her firm works with not-for profit and corporate clients such as Facebook and the International Women's Media Foundation on strategic initiatives designed to benefit key constituencies in a number of Latin American countries. Pilar Frank O'Leary has facilitated meetings with various high level government officials in Latin America, including one between Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg and the President of Colombia.
Additionally, Ms. O'Leary serves as a co-founder and principal of Isabella & Ferdinand Spanish Language Adventures. Over the past 5 years, she has expanded the academy from 80 to 500 students, while emphasizing a dynamic language-immersion environment. She helped develop the program's unique CultureCentric Curriculum designed to meet the specific needs of bilingual as well as first-time Spanish learners.
Ms. O'Leary’s past experience includes a role as a director and special assistant to the CEO of Fannie Mae. In this capacity, Ms. O'Leary helped set a strategic framework for expanding homeownership opportunities for members of the Latino community and serves as a company spokesperson on Hispanic lending. Pilar Frank O'Leary has also served as lawyer in the Buenos Aires and NY offices of JPMorgan & Co, a Latin American equities analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co and other roles.
