Machiavelli was an Italian historian politician, diplomat, philosopher, humanist, and writer during the Renaissance.  He was born on May 3, 1469 in Florence Italy, His Bernardo di Niccolò Machiavelli and his mom, Bartolomea di Stefano Nelli, in a family of three.


He is known for his writing and his best for his work The Prince which was a huge hit.  Following that he wrote Discourses on Livy. He wrote many political writings that got a lot of attention.


Machiavelli had a lot of impact on people in his day and even in our era.  2pac made is album after Machiavelli which he read in prison that gave him a lookout in life.  He was a political leader, even John Adams and Bill Clinton  studied, followed or made reference to the book while president.
