Mercury: The Closest To The Sun

Mercury is a very unique inner planet of our solar system. It takes Mercury a whopping 59 days to rotate, however only 88 days to revolve. Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system. It is only slightly larger than our moon. It is 58 million km's away from the sun, but it's blazing hot. Mercury has no moons nor no rings. Only two spacecrafts have ever visited Mercury. Mariner-10 and MESSENGER in 2011. Mercury has no atmosphere with a mass of 328.5E21 kg. It also is a terrestrial planet. There are no signs of life in Mercury with 800 degrees Fahrenheit at day and -290 at night. The sun would appear 3 times larger on mercury than on Earth.
