Sunnis from Anbar province in Iraq have been running away to Baghdad as a way to get away from all of the fighting in Anbar. It is estimated that over one hundred thousand people have fled from Anbar province to Baghdad. With these people fleeing to Baghdad, Islamic State militants see this as an opportunity to strike Baghdad with bombs. There have also been many car bombing attacks. There have been bombs discovered in some cars owned by Sunnis that escaped to Baghdad. This is leading people in Baghdad to believe that the Sunnis are behind the bombings. Because of this, Sunni refugees are being denied an entry into Baghdad unless they can find someone who lives there to help them.
