American boxer Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr, was born on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. Better known as Muhammad Ali, he was perhaps the most celebrated sports figure in the world during most of the 1960s and '70s.
Significant Events in History that Affected Muhammad's Life
-Muhammad like the views of the Islam religion and followed them and then later changed is name to an Islamic one.
-His stolen bike which started his boxing career.
-Racism which gave him something to fight for.
Muhammad Ali was a small 87 pound child who would not back down and wanted things to go his way and would do anything to keep it that way.
