The Seven Themes of
Catholic Social Teaching
By: Lexi Affolter
Life and Dignity of the Human Person
Showing respect and love for one another. Don't harmfully hurt or kill someone anytime. Especially don't because of arguments.
This organization calls people to show love for all people, even if they are different races or religions because they are still part of the family.
Call to Family, Community, and Participation
There should be no separation of poor, wealthy, race, or religion. Everyone should get the chance to be able to socialize and be friends with others.
This organization encourages people to live as one family, and for everyone not to judge anyone on races, religions, or wealthy/poor.
Rights and Responsibilities
We should care for other people who don't have shelter or food.
This organization cares for the charity more than anyone. They make sure charity always comes before themselves.
Options between the poor and the vulnerable
We should always put the poor and vulnerable before the wealthy to make sure everyone is equal.
This organization has staff who has experienced homelessness. They give out food and shelter for the homeless at the moment.
The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
Everyone needs a living, so everyone should have the right to work.
This organization works by making decent working conditions for everyone, making sure everyone has the right to work.
Make peace and stop fighting. We should all love each other because we are all brothers and sisters.
This organization's mission is to spread faith and make sure everyone is equal, as a family.
Care for God's Creation
Care for the environment, God made it for us because he loves it. Don't ruin it.
This organization is trying to spread the message that God made us our environment to live, so we need to care for it.
