San Diego State University was the first and largest college institution found in the San Diego area. It was found March 13, 1897 and was originally used to train elementary school teachers. At first, San Diego State University had taught only three courses, English, history, and mathematics. By the 1920's, this university's population was outgrowing its space. Greetings to whom it may concern,
I would like to apply for the position of an obstetrician at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.
I have received a Master's degree in Nursing and a Minor in biology at San Diego State University. I have also taken a course that has allowed me to get my PhD and specialize in becoming an obstetrician at Stanford's School of Medicine. These courses have offered me labs that have helped me prepare for the experiences I will have at your hospital. I have also learned how to work well with others and have had the opportunity to be apart of a team. I had fellow nurses and obstetricians by my side as I received my education and practiced labs. I have learned how to have unity, how to reduce waste, how to be efficient, and how to be innovative.
I have studied hard to pursue my dream of becoming an obstetrician. I would like to be apart of your team at Del Sol Medical Center and help our community. This can provide a very positive impact on my future and I can provide a positive impact on the future of your hospital.
Thank you for your time and I hope to see you soon at a future interview.

In determining the best career path for me, I ask myself what qualities must a successful individual possess? In my opinion one must have an internal drive to be considerate, compassionate, hard working, goal oriented, and determined. I feel I exhibit all of these characteristics in different areas of my life.
I have often asked myself, how can I be the change I want to see in the world? I answer this question by seeking opportunities to best serve others. In the school setting, through church, and community I have always been helpful to others. Putting others before myself comes natural to me. Becoming an obstetrician has been my dream since middle school and I intend to take every avenue to pursue it. San Diego State University can help me achieve my goals and set up my future. I deserve to attend San Diego State University because I am a responsible and determined student that has a true passion for saving lives.
Ever since elementary, I have never failed to let my instructors down. My schoolwork has always been my priority and I intend to continue to keep it that way at your university. I realized my dream in middle school and have chosen a career track that can help me get involved with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This program is called STEM and I am following this path throughout high school to allow me to experience the career I want to pursue. I have been responsible and have not only kept up with this career track, but I have also maintained a straight A honor roll in my core classes and electives.
I continuously try my best to achieve all of my goals. I will put all of my focus and attention on school and on my future.
