The Life of Barack Obama

  “I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear”, said Barack Hussein Obama. Obama was born August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Obama’s family consists of a mom, dad, wife, two daughters, a dog, and a stepdad, which influenced him to be successful and fight against discrimination. Obama is a Muslim with no living parents. Obama’s dad, mom, and stepdad died. Although he was discriminated against, he overcame it and became a very well accomplished man.

Most Important Contributions to Society

   Obama had seven great contributions to society. First, was becoming the first black president. Obama’s greatest contribution to society was Obama Care. While Obama Care has been growing from 2010, it saves Americans two point one billion
dollars a year. He has made greater contributions such as making people be
confident, giving to the community, encouraging people to do the right thing,
completing his plans for Africa, serving a small part of one national level
senate, and winning the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

Awards and Honors

   Obama received many rewards. He received two Grammy awards, a Nobel Peace Prize, and a guitar from a famous rocker. He received Nobel Peace Prize Laureate during a ceremony in the Main Hall of Oslo City Hall in Oslo ,Norway, Thursday, December tenth two-thousand nine. Obama won the two Grammy awards on a Tuesday, and he was not expecting it.
