To Kill a Mockingbird
By: Harper Lee
This book can say "don't judge a book by its cover," "justice is blind," and "in order for you to truly understand someone, you have to climb into his skin and walk around in it for a while." To Kill a Mockingbird stands out because it shows how people are misunderstood and how law can either be forgiving or cruel.
