Kennith Eric Chuch was born May 3, 1977 in Granite Falls, NC. At 13, he bought a guitar and began writing songs of his own. He had found a gig at a local bar, which occupied most of his time. He played a lot of Jimmy Buffet covers along with a few originals at Dive bars. Before moving off to Nashville to begin his musical career, Eric Graduated from South Caldwell High School and then Appalachian State University with a degree in marketing. With his graduation came his engagement to a woman who's father offered Eric a corporate career. Eric denied the offer, his fiancé left him, and he set off for Nashville. Eric has Released 4 albums and one live album. The first, Sinners Like Me, was released July 18, 2006, which included hit songs like, Before She Does, These Boots, and my personal favorite of all of Eric Church's music, Lighting. His second album, Carolina, released March 24, 2009 brought his hit song Smoke a Little Smoke, along with, Those I've loved, and Carolina. His third album, Chief, brought songs like, Creepin', Drink in my Hand, and Jack Daniels. These first 3 albums all had a really deep country feel, but, on his fourth album, he changed it up. The Outsiders, released February 11, 2014, had more a country rock feel with music that has seemed to blow people away, with songs like, The Outsiders, Cold One, and Talladega. Eric Church has spent the majority of his life entertaining the world with amazing music, and he still has a lot of boot left to fill.
