Currently, PCCTI provides a variety of certified nursing programs, including LPN (Licensed Practical Nursing) Program, CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Program, A & P Program, and Medical Assistant Program.
LPN (Licensed Practical Nursing) Program:
PCCTI IT and HealthCare’s LPN program is a 1 year diploma/certificate program that makes students capable of providing nursing care for injured, disabled, and sick patients. An advanced learning methodology is used while teaching these students. It includes classroom teaching, externships in clinical environment, for instance, nursing care facilities and hospitals, online practice, exam preparation, and laboratory simulation at PCCTI’s campuses at Oak Brook and Chicago.
CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Program:
The curriculum of CNA program is designed in such a manner that it will prepare aspirants to perform bedside care tasks in long term facilities, hospitals, and home health in a professional way. They work under the supervision of a registered practical nurse or a licensed nurse. Nursing assistants carry out regular tasks in the general care of clinic, nursing home, and hospital patients.
A & P Program:
In A & P program, the students acquire thorough introductory knowledge about human form and function. This course assists the learners to understand a large, intricate body of scientific knowledge in a much easier and conversational writing approach.
Medical Assistant Program:
It is a 10 month program that prepares the aspirants for documentation through the National Health career Association (NHA). A certified clinical medical assistant is multi skilled healthcare practitioner who is able to perform tasks for both administrative and clinical procedures.
