I want to become a physical therapist because I enjoy helping people and fascinated on how the human body can get injured and how it heals. The main reason I want to become a physical therapist is because I want to be the first person in my family to get a PhD. Becoming a physical therapist is my long term goal in life because this is a hard goal to achieve.
Physical therapists help people who have been sick or injured get back to a healthy life. They also help people with permanent disabilities accomplish the highest possible level of physical function. Their patients include people who have sports-related injuries, or who have been through serious car accidents.
In order to become a physical therapist, you must earn a master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy education program, and then pass a licensing exam.
In this profession you usually earn around $52,000 to $106,000 a year. You get paid hourly but it depends on your experience.Level of Experience Hourly Annual Entry Wage$35.86 $74,580,Median Wage $42.04$87,450,Experienced Wage $50.70$105,460 these are the hourly and yearly salaries
Most employers provide full-time physical therapists with benefits such as paid vacations, sick leave, health insurance, and retirement programs. But if you are self employed you have to provide your own benefits.
