Campus Highlight:

The Pulley Tower

The Pulley Tower is probably Miami’s most overlooked treasure. With a wide array of tunes—ranging from Lady Gaga, Aladdin, and Harry Potter to classical pieces—the Pulley Tower combines bells and other instruments to mark the time and entertain students as they walk to class.

This treasure was a gift to Miami University in 2001 from William Pulley in tribute to his father, Verlin Pulley, a 1925 Miami University Alumnus and Member of the Board of Trustees. The tower is 95 feet tall, has 50 bells, and 4 illuminated clocks.
