Major Civilizations of Asia and Their Achievements and Overall Impact on Society and Economy

Tang Dynasty:

What fluctuated power in post classical Asia?Tang Dynasty (618 to 907)After end of emperor Yang and the shai dynasty the country was in chaos Under leadership of emperor Taizong (known as China's greatest leader), they empire became a great power Using strict law enforcement , diplomacy, economic spreading, and the spread of culture Know as the golden age of china Army gained a lot of territory- Central Asia, trade was brought about, religious tolerance, Had a female empress- Wu Zelatin (649- 683ad), very successfully commanded her people, and conquered Korea in 668ad After Arabs attacked China in 750Ad, parts of territory was lost, Muslims replaced china as economic power house, Tibetans took over Capitol The emperor ran out of power and money, rebellion tour dynasty apart, empire fell to northern invaders 907AD

Song Dynasty:

Song Dynasty- (960- 1279ad)After fall of the Tang Dynasty, general Zhao Kuangyin held dominate power, after the uprising against the Zhou dynasty, he started the song dynasty The General went as empoer Taizu, the Capitol was called Kaifeng The song revived trade, known for their steel and iron works/ ship building Advanced in education and art, they created the concept of printing Fell to the mongol's in 1279

Yuan Dynasty:

The Yuan Dynasty Rose by the fighting of Kublai Khan who in 1271 took over parts of norther china with the the help of his Mongolian empire. He would later take over all of china and practically give up on being the leader of the Mongols and become the Emperor of China and earn the name of the Great Yuan. The Yuan Dynasty had multiple religions from the Mongolians being Buddhist, the traditional Chinese, and others. During their time period the Yuan had reached what was known as the time periods peak for scientific achievements. Their main advancements were in astronomy, mathematics, and medicine. But the majored of the dynasties advancements were reached with the help of four in experts. They also had achievements in art in literature just like every new empire of dynasty does. They developed a new type of literature called Yuan drama and the literature from the Yuan dynasty would also have an influence on the Ming and Qing dynasty.

The Ming Dynasty:

After the Yuan Dynasty the Ming was known as one of the greatest eras of orderly government and social stability in human society. Last Dynasty in China ruled by ethnic Han Chinese. Capital of Beijing fell to Li Zicheng in 1644. The empires army exceeded one million troops and the Navy's dockyards in Nanjing were the largest in the world. The Ming repaired and completed the Great Wall of china, they made cotton and silk looms, they developed powerful artillery and the Huochong gun, and a projection firearm. They also hade many advancements in the medical field. They also had improvements in the arts, literature, and philosophy. They left the Chinese empire with great strategies in war, better ways of agriculture, and with great sense of how to get things done event though times are tough.

Chinese Influence/Impact on Japan:

When the Chinese and Japanese first met there was not a written Japanese language so Japan adopted the Chinese script so communication between the empires was possible. When the Japanese met the Chinese they were a large group that followed different Chinese religions like Buddhism and Confucianism. The Japanese emperor also adopted many aspects of the Chinese bureaucracy. As Buddhism came to Japan the practice of building large temples came with it which helped develop the architecture of the Japanese. A lot of Chinese aspects went into the formation of Japan and without it Japan would be a completely different country than it was and is today.
