Where did the disease originate and how?
Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes).
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.
How did it spread?
symptom of the highly contagious herpes simplex virus (which is similar to, but not quite the same as, the STD herpes virus) that affects many people. The virus lives in the body forever, breaking out occasionally into sores in and around the mouth. When you or someone you know has an outbreak, the sores can spread through a number of ways:
- Indirect Contact
- touching and not washing your hands

This could affect our economy because if a lot of people are sick than they cant work and that means less money would be made and less work would be worked. So therefor jobs would be behind and the workers that are sick would not have enough money t live and support there family with. So then everyone would then be affected and hurt.
