Today, a RED STOPLIGHT DAY, we

  • Took an online writing check-in.
  • Engaged in Checkpoint Five: After student completes revisions, teacher conferences with student to assess the work as a whole, using the holistic Virginia Department of Education rubric for eighth grade, and, if needed, offers student a final opportunity for revision within specific rubric areas.

Homework

  • Check-in every time you finish or abandon a book.
