Obsession

The domination of one's thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea, image, or desire.

They knew he had an obsession with the game when he had played it for three days straight.

Agitate

To move or force into violence, irregular action.

His little brother kept on poking him, and it agitated him, so he yelled ate the little brother.

Toiled

Hard and continuous work: exhausting labor or effort.

She was toiled after finishing her five hundred page essay in one day.

Grotesque

Odd or unnatural in shape, appearance, or character; fantastically ugly or absurd; bizzarre.

Many people said that Kevin Ware's tibia injury was very grotesque, and they hope nothing like that will happen again.

Convulsive

Of the nature of or characterized by convulsions or spasms.

He projected a convulsive movement towards me, and he said it was only a spasm, but he was really trying to punch me.

Devoured

To consume destructively, recklessly.

When Spongebob got lost in the cave while trying to survive in the wilderness with Sandy, he almost devoured Patrick!

The science dealing with the structure of animals, humans, and plants.

Gnarled

Having a rugged, weather-beaten appearance.

At the end of the hunger games, Katniss and Peeta's clothes were very gnarled from the long time out in the wilderness.

To keep away from because of dislike or caution.
