  1. THE MEXICAN SPOTTED OWL is a medium sized owl,it is 17 inches when perched. It has dark eyes and white spotting on its head,back, and under parts.It is similar to the barred owl but with spots on the chest.

HABITAT

The MEXICAN SPOTTED OWL lives in a closed canopy forest with large trees, snags, and very large logs or in cliff cracks.

REASON FOR DECLINE
