The power loom was invented in 1785 to make weaving thread into squares of fabric easier.
Though the power loom made weaving fabrisc easier it came with some flaws. The power loom needed enough energy for it to run which meant it costed more. the powerloom also had a few perks. A boy or girl of fourteen could use, it was so simple. Tody the power loom would look more like this:
The power loom first ran on water than it moved on steam power. The loom turns thread into squares of fabric that can be turned into blankets, clothes or cutains.
The power loom changed weaving for women by making it easier to make strips of fabric mechanically.
