Can Hugs protect against illness during stressful times? Research says yes!

A new study shows that frequent hugging lowers your chances of becoming ill during times of stress. Prior research has found that high levels of stress can weaken your immune system. In a study that was done at Carnegie Mellon University to see if hugs could act as a type of support and protect people from getting sick. For the study they had 404 healthy adults complete a survey about there levels of social support I think people should hug more.
