Colleges of the 1930s
I believe that Eugene should attend Emory University. The usual tuition was about $1,000 in the 1930s. Along with this and the $700 for books, a room, and cost of food.I the 85 years from 10930 to 2015 Emory University has gained more programs, more awards, and even more schools. The mascot of Emory University is the "Swoop the Eagle".
Living alone in the 1930s would be a cake walk compared to living alone today. A new car only cost $640.00 and gas was only 10 cents per gallon. Overall the cost of living was about $21. Typical items such as bread, milk ,meat, eggs could cost as low as 17 cents. Even a new house cost only $7,145.00.
Stan's Apology Letter
I realize that my actions were wrong and disrespectful. But Andrew has worked at the store for years and always does amazing work. As a result, he doesn't deserve to be accused of something he clearly didn't do.
Andrew is an honest and kind man who need his weekly paycheck. I realize that those hats were very expensive and I agree that it is very wasteful to ruin them like that. But Andrew didn't leave the oil there and he shouldn't be punished for it. I agree that someone should be punished for the office thought so I will gladly work as long as I need to in order to pay for all though hats.
But, don't misunderstand this letter. Yes,it's main purpose it to apologize to you but it is also meant to inform you of my principles. I am not apologizing for defending a innocent man, but for the way I did so.You have always been fair, just, and kind. For you to be so angelic and to be repaid as such is unforgivable. But I'd still like you to try.So Mr.Stroheim.I formally apologize and hope you can forgive me for this insolence.
