  • 4 years of Science - Biology I, Chemistry I or Physics I
  • 2 years of the same foreign language
  • Criteria:
  • students in the top 10% of their class at a recognized Texas High School are automatically admitted
  • Academically apply and be in the top quarter of your class and complete the required coursework. Must score the minimum SAT (1300 two score) and ACT requirements (30).
  • Some applicants can be reviewed and admitted if they excel in certain areas of the criteria but not others.

  • Housing Costs and Deadlines

  • depending on which on campus hall/apartment you would like deadlines are required normally about 3-6 months before enrollment, a common date is April 30th
  • On Campus housing costs about $9000 a year'
  • Off campus living depends on where you want to live, however costs are easily lowered by living with a roommate

  • There is not a deadline, however jobs are first come first serve if qualified
  • there are many job oppurtunities including tutoring, recreation, animal services and maintenance
