Workers' Compensation Seminars Kick Off in Jackson and Dyersburg
The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Tennessee Division of Workers’ Compensation launched the Workers Compensation Seminars in Jackson and Dyersburg on July 25, seeing a full house at both locations. The seminars will continue statewide through August 29.
"The Workers Compensation System in Tennessee has been comprehensively overhauled. It is now the goal of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Administration that we properly educate our businesses with regards to these favorable changes," stated Catherine Glover.
State's Economy is tied to Common Core
Catherine Glover spoke at the State Board of Education Workshop on July 25, sharing the importance of educational reform for a better prepared workforce. Fielding Rolston, Chairman of the Tennessee State Board of Education and Kevin Huffman, Commissioner of Education were among those in attendance who listened with interest.
