Gone

Cinquain

When I realized he was gone there was nothing I could do
All he ever want was to give his life to you
When you took him away
All I did was wish for him to stay
I know he is happy with you, but I want him here too.

This poem is a cinquain because it has five stanzas and follows some type of rhyme scheme. I wrote this poem about my cousin who is now dead. He died at 7 years old about 3 years ago in 2011. He loved God and that is who I am talking about when I say "give his life to you". I am also Christian but I have been going through some rough times lately.God and my writing have been getting me through it. I especially like to write cinquains, I don't really know why but they just help me.
