Feudalism feudalism is a political and social system in which lords land to vassals in exchange for loyalty.  

What led to Japans feudalism  Japans feudalism is were there local rulers, either powerful rulers or military warlords dominated the land. While the emperor was just a figure head and was not a political presence.

The four groups in japans feudal system are Top emperor Then theirs shoguns and dynamos, then the samurai,the the peasants and artisans, then last the merchants. The emperor rules all the land, then the dynamos and shogun rule over a section of  land , The samurai protect people in there land such as peasants, peasants farm, and merchants sell things.
