Anorexia is a severe, harmful disorder

Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder. This disorder is where you go long periods of time without eating, which over time hurts your body. Anorexia is mostly found in women, their desire is to lose weight and they do it by not eating. 1 in 200 american women suffer from anorexia.

warning signs of anorexia

Extreme weight loss. Refusal to maintain body weight of at least 85% of normal expected weight. Thin appearance. Abnormal blood counts. Fatigue. Insomnia. Dizziness or fainting. Brittle nails. Hair that thins, breaks or falls out.
