What is Mythology
Myths are traditional tales of particular people like Indians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, and others. They are especially connected with religious beliefs and rituals performed at public festivals.
Poseidon is the god of the sea, earthquakes, and horses. He is the brother of Zeus. Poseidon gave fresh and salt water. Poseidon was a violent god. He created horses out of sea horses.
Colchis Bull is a mythical creature that is a bronze bull that has teeth like a dragon, he can shoot things, and grinds things to dust (with horns). He is a size of a elephant. If you try to mount its back its back lifts and throws you off.
DAEDALUS AND ICARUS
Daedalus and Icarus is a myth about a father and son (Daedalus and Icarus) they are trapped and they try to fly away but Icarus is to close to the sun and falls and dies.
Modern Day Connections
A lot of people go to the beach. Poseidon lives in the sea.
