Pythagorean Triples

I chose The Rule of Plato for my math project. In this project you are to generate 10 sets of Pythagorean triples and 10 sets from The Rule of Plato.

I will start of by showing you the Pythagorean triples but first I will show the formula for it: M2-1\2 = M2+1\2. Now if you apply this with numbers instead of using the variable, M, you will generate Pythagorean triples but you have to be careful of the number you select. Instead of using M, I used 5. 5+ (52-1)\2= 5 a+1\2.

5+24\2= 25+1 26/2.

Here are other generated sets. Basically you have to double the second and third number because they are squared:

5+12=13 because 12= 24 and 13= 26

3+4=5 because 4=8 and 5=10

7+24=25 because 24=48 and 25=50

10+24 =26 because 24=48 and 26=52

30+40=50 because 40=80 and 50=100

20+21=29 because 21=42 and 29=58

12+ 16=20 because 12=24 and 16=32

27+36=45 because 36=72 and 45=90

11+60=61 because 60=120 and 61= 122

25+60=65 because 60=120 and 65=130.

Trying to generate sets of Pythagorean Triples!
