Government of Japan
By: Jakevious Wright
Japan has a constitutional monarchy. The Prime Minister is the head of the state. He is chosen by his colleagues in the Diet. Japan government legislature is made up of 2 houses. The House of Councilors and The House of Representatives. The 2 houses are chosen by the Diet. In Japan's government citizens are able to vote as long as they are the age of at least 20. Also, the minimum age to stand for election is 25. Anyone who serve as judge can be there as long as 70 years.
My country compares to the United Kingdom which is also a constitutional monarchy government. The United Kingdom is ruled by Queen Elizabeth which is a queen, and Japan is ruled by a Prime Minister.
