For the first character that shows courage I chose none other than Courage, the Cowardly Dog. If you're unfamiliar with the TV series, it's about this dog who lives with an elderly couple in the middle of nowhere. Crazy things always seem to happen, outer space chicken's come to attack the house, or crazy people come back as zombies trying to take the land back! The only defense the family has Courage. Whenever the mother of this dog gets kidnapped or put in danger, Courage who is afraid of his own shadow bites the bullet to save his loved ones.
This video clearly displays the Lion of Wizard of Oz gaining his courage back. He went on a long tough journey to earn his courage, and now that he has it he is crowned king of the jungle.
Third off, is Franklin D Roosevelt. This man, although suffering from polio, lead the American people with his head held high for 12 years in office. He lead the people of America through one of the toughest times in history (Great Depression) with courage, and utmost faith in himself, and his people to bounce back from this time.
Lastly, I would like to choose a more personal leader in life, my father. As a good with nothing but the torn shoes on his feet, him, his brother, and his mother lived through some of the hardest conditions someone could. Without giving up, and cowering in fear under those above him, my dad held his head high and proud and worked hard for where he is today. Courage is more than just being brave. Courage is not giving up no matter how bad you want too.
