William Shakespeare is an English playwright, poet, and actor.
William Shakespeare was born in a small market town of Startford-Upon-Avon in 1564. He is the 3 of 8 children. His parents are John Shakespeare and Mary Arden. He was baptized in April 26, 3 days after his birth. In his early years, he was a troublemaker in school, and later elected bailiff. He also can read Latin. William married Anne Hathaway at the age of 18 while Anne herself was 26. They have 3 children: Susanna, Judith and Hamnet.
Shakespeare worked in the Elizabethan Theater, named after Queen Elizabeth I. He even has his own theater called, the Globe Theater. William wrote plays, sonnets, and poems. He at least wrote 38 plays such as, Hamlet and Comedy of Errors. He writes 2 plays a year. He has written over 154 sonnets. England wasn't so great during the time Shakespeare had lived there. England was polluted, had diseases like the Black Plague, which decreased the population of England.
During his last 8 years of his life, his son Hamnet died at the age of 11, his two daughters, Susanna and Judith were wed, wrote 6 more plays, and became the most successful playwright.
