Iraq is trying to get a fair amount of water, while sharing with Turkey and Syria.
Iraq's population is already very large and is going to grow even larger in the next few years.
Iraq is already using more water than they are taking in. But there is more renewable water in Iraq which is good. The next graph shows that most of the renewable water comes for outside the country. We can conclude that that means there is not enough water for Iraq inside the country. The next graph shows what Iraq uses its water for. The majority of the water is used for agriculture, but only 3% of the water is used for domestic use. Domestic use is the water we use to take showers, flush our toilets and other every day things.
Finally after Iraq is struggling with the little water it has, it needs to compete with two other countries for water.
