How does one burned out Christmas light affect the other Christmas lights?
IV=type of circuit
DV=the strand of Christmas lights burned out
If the Christmas lights are arranged in a parallel circuit then when one bulb bursts than the other bulbs will light up.
All of the lights were lit.
The two bulbs stayed lit.
If the Christmas lights are arranged in a series circuit then when one bulb bursts the others will not light up.
All of the bulbs are lit but are dim.
None of the lights are lit.
My conclusion was that a parallel circuit is the best kind of Christmas lights to bye because when one light bulb goes out the rest will stay lit.
