The Fault In Our Stars

Lyrics

Love Never Felt So Good by Michael Jackson

Baby, love never felt so good
And I'd die if it ever could
Not like you hold me, hold me
Oh, baby, love never felt so fine
And I'd die if it's never mine,
Not like you hold me, hold me

And the nights gonna be just fine,
Gotta fly, gotta see, got to be
I can't take it,

'Cause, baby, every time I love you, in and out of my life, in out, baby,
Tell me, if you really love me it's in and out my life, in out, baby
So, baby, yes, love never felt so good.

Oh, baby, love never felt so fine
And I'd die if it ever mine
Not like you hold me, hold me
Baby, love never felt so good
And I'd die if it ever could,
Not like you hold me, hold me

And the night through the thick and thin
Gotta fly, gotta see, can't believe
I can't take it, 'cause

Baby, every time I love you, it's in and out my life, in out, baby
Tell me, if you really love me, it's in and out my life driving me crazy
Baby, love never felt so good

And I'd die if you never mine
Not like you hold me, hold me
And I'd die if it ever could, not like you hold me, hold me

Aww, baby, love never felt so fine,
And I'd die if you're mine all mine
Not like you hold me, hold me
Aww, baby, love never felt so good (so good)
And I'd die if it ever could
Not like you hold me, hold me,

And the nights that feels good (feels good)
Gotta fly, gotta see, can't believe
I can't take it, 'cause

Baby, every time I love you it's in and out my life, in out, baby
Tell me, if you really love me it's in and out my life driving me crazy
'Cause, baby, love never felt so good

Felt so good aw yeah,
Never felt so good,
Felt so good,
Never felt so good,
Never felt so good yeah yeah,

Alright that's fine, that's it...

Symbolism

Fault In Our Stars Symbolism: Enjoy Life As  You Can

This is the symbol in the book because the book symbolizes that Hazel and Augustus enjoy their life together because they don't know what may happen in the future. Like in the book Fault In Our Stars on pg. 129 the day before they went to Amsterdam she was really excited to go to meet Peter Van Houten. The chalk board represents how you should enjoy your life before it erases or all gone and in the book Hazel enjoys her life as she can before she dies or bad thing happens.

Dynamic and Static

A dynamic character is a literary or dramatic character who undergoes an important inner change, as a change in personality or attitude. A dynamic character would be Hazel because Hazel is like the main character and the book is based off her because it talks about how she falls in love and then how he dies at the end of the book and how she expresses her feeling towards people.

A static character is a literary or dramatic character who undergoes little or no inner change; a character who does not grow or develop. A static Character would be Augustus because he is like the background character he only goes with the story because hazel loves him.

Internal and External Conflict

An Internal Conflict is when Hazel at the beginning in the book was being lazy and talked about how she hate going to the support group and how it was boring and kept talking about the same stories all the time and how she thought it was stupid.

An external conflict is when Hazel meets Augustus and they fall in love with each other so that would be an external conflict because they always hung out with each other and they had a relationship connection with each other.

Why he wrote the book?

“I guess I wanted to show that people living with illness are also doing many other things," Green told us. "They aren't entirely defined by their illness or by their disability. A lot of times I think that, from the outside, maybe we imagine sick people as being defined by their illness or as being simply, merely sick. Particularly people who are dying. My experience has always been, that the people who are chronically ill are also many other things. They’re capable of love and they have all the same desires as other people. Their lives are every bit as rich and complex and important and meaningful as any others."

They did not mention the intended theme of the novel.
